Being the biggest employer in Perm Krai, OJSC Motovilikhinskiye Zavody is interested in close cooperation between the company and educational institutions. Universities and colleges in their turn are interested in giving not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills. This creates a base for active cooperation between Motovilikha Works and these «talent foundries».
Perm State Technical University (PSTU).
This well-known University was established in 1953 as Perm Mining University. 1960 it was reorganized into Perm Polytechnic College and 1992 it got a status of state technical university. Today PSTU creates the basis for industrial, scientific and cultural development of the Ural Region’s potential.
For several decades we have been cooperating with PSTU, especially with Automobile and Road-Building Faculty (Department of Road-Building equipment), Aerospace faculty (Department of Technologies, Engineering and Automation in Special-purpose Machine Building), Mechanical and Technological Faculty (Department of Machine Building Technologies and Department of Foundry Production) and Electric-Technical Faculty.
Every year at least 100 PSTU students do an internship at Motovilikha Works.

Perm Polytechnic College n.a. N. Slavyanov.
1919 on the basis of Motovilikha Works Peoples Polytechnical School was founded. 1969 it was named after Nikolay Slavyanov, scientist and inventor of electric arc welding. 1992 Technical School was reorganized into Polytechnic College named after N. Slavyanov. Today the College is equipped with advanced material and technical resources including classrooms, labs, computer classrooms, and its’ own library and broadcasting center. Besides Students club and Center of psychological support were organized.
College provides education in the following knowledge fields: economics and accounting, forming operations, welding production, special-purpose machines and tools, maintenance and repair of vehicles, assembly and operating of electrical equipment in civil and industrial buildings, maintenance of computing technologies and computer networks.

During the World War II in 1942 this school was open on the basis of Motovilikha Works in order to educate workers instead of those who went to the front. Since then the School and Motovilikha Works have been closely cooperating. For example those who are intended to become machine operators or crane operators will be guaranteed employed by Motovilikha Works. Today this school offers professional programs of different levels. Basic vocational education includes professions of general machine operators and bridge crane operators. There are also basic vocational education programs for future accountants, overhead crane operators, machine and equipment set up men. There is also a possibility to get the second qualification.

Professional school ¹3 n.a. P. Nepryakhin.
The oldest professional technical educational institution in Western Ural. During about 90 years it educated about 30 000 specialists. Here was created a creative team of teachers, only up-to-date technologies are used in the teaching process, the school is equipped with several computer classrooms. Machine building department of the school offers wide range of professions: electrician, gas and arc welder, operator of multiple types of equipment etc. Teachers of Department of Office professions educate future computer operators, clerical assistants, executive assistants, accountants etc.
