Manufacturing of the oil field and special equipment

One of our key directions is manufacturing of the oil field equipment. We manufacture wide range of drill pipes, equipment for the well servicing, pump rods and component parts with the use of production facilities considered to be the most cutting-edge in Russia and CIS countries according to implemented technologies and available equipment.

Core element of drill pipes production is the radial forging machine SXP-55 (Austria). Four forging tools make 200 beats per minute, with 1000 t capacity each of forging tool. Ingots could weigh up to 5.5 t (about 12 000 lbs). Complex is also equipped with hot-cutting knife, annealing oven, straightening press and machining equipment (turning, drilling, boring and deep-boring machines).

Pump rods and couplings are produced on the unique technological complex. For example rod heads are being forged on the ETCHELLS automated line (UK) equipped with automated heating temperature and straightness control system. Then forged work pieces are being heat treated in through-type furnaces SURFACE COMBUSTION (USA). Heat treatment ensures necessary strength and straightness features.

Then follows shot peening on ESG-DL-XS3836 machine using processing methods developed by Wheelabrator Allevard company. Mechanical processing of the rod ends and thread rolling are carried out on the STEZI complex (Germany) with progressive technology «fixed workpiece — moving tool».

Rod couplings are manufactured on the atomized equipment AKUMA (Japan). Highly automated rod manufacturing equipment allows us to minimize the influence of human factor and guarantee high quality of our products.

Mechanical assembly production of the well servicing equipment, nuclear power equipment and lifting equipment includes machine fleet (rigid-bed milling, longitudinal planers, horizontal boring mills), sandblasting chamber, welding plant etc.

Unique equipment allows us to manufacture goods, demanded not only by the oil industry.

OSJC Motovilikhinskiye Zavody is also the manufacturer of rough car axles used in manufacturing of railroad cars. 2007—2208 we started to manufacture wheels — equipment for metallurgical plants. Nowadays this kind of equipment proved it’s importance at the market.

Our main oil field products — drill pipes and pump rods are certified not only under Russian GOST standard. Its’ high quality is also proven by certification under acknowledged all over the world API standard.
