Foundry production
Foundry Production of Motovilikha Works specializes on producing of castings and moldings of different types of construction steel (carbon, alloy and special steel), non-ferrous alloy and cast iron with following heat and mechanical treatment.
In heavy mould castings production we implement the new Hardening Òàr-Sand Process for producing of mold boxes and cores. Equipment consists of two continuous mixers SNDV—1 that are used to produce mold boxes and cores often changing stock list with high technical requirements of all types of casting alloys.
Light mould casting specializes on lost-wax casing, into sand expendable and shell molds. We have implemented new «alpha-set» process of cold-hardening sand mixtures for expendable molds.
Weight of produced moldings varies from 1 kg (2,2 lbs) to 14 t (30 860 lbs). We carry out different kinds of heat treatment, for example: heat/chemical and heat treatment in closed systems, surface radio heating, as well as all types of heat cleaning followed by descaling.
Closed production cycle allows to produce small lots of unique moldings and serial orders.
We produce castings for machine building industry, spare parts for dredges, rotor wheels for hydraulic works, interchangeable equipment for open-hearth plants, plates for installation on tram and railroad crossing overs etc.
